Royal Pest Management is offering a $500 Scholarship to one student from Middletown High School who has a declared major in Entomology, Applied Ecology, Wildlife Conservation, Environmental Studies or any major that benefits the environment in a “planet friendly” manner. Winner must be accepted in that program in a University or College in Delaware.
To get Scholarship: Make a :60 video about yourself and what you would like to do that is Planet Friendly.
EXAMPLE 1: STAND IN FRONT OF A PILE OF PLASTIC WATER BOTTLES AND TELL US THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO FIND OTHER USES FOR PLASTICS AND ANY IDEAS YOU MAY HAVE
EXAMPLE 2: PUT A CAMERA ON A COCKROACH AND STATE HOW YOU WOULD LIKE TO STUDY THE BEHAVIOR OF INSECTS TO DETERMINE A SAFE WAY TO PROTECT PEOPLE FROM DISEASES THEY CARRY
Please submit the video on CD along with the completed application to your Guidance Counselor by March 30, 2010. Royal Pest Management and Middletown High School will determine Award winner. Winner will be notified on or about April 30th 2010. Be smart. Be creative. Have fun!
