Royal Pest proudly sponsored The Farmer and the Chef that benefits the March of Dimes. A great night out for a good cause...AND we gave out toothpick holders as people came in and heard again and again how they appreciated them and remembered getting them last year.
RPS was proud to sponsor and donate a 55" TV for raffle to The Seamen Center's Fall Fun(d)raiser on September 15, 2015.
The issue of pollinator health continues to be a hot topic in the media and the public. This year, the National Pest Management Association asked members to take part in "Plant Your Own Pollinator Garden" NPMA National Community Day of Service on August 22, 2015 (National Honey Bee Day).
So we did! On Sunday Aug 16th we dug out a 4.5 ft x 3.5 ft garden, put stone around it, and filled it with dirt. On Saturday August 22 we planted flowers that would attract pollinators.
Peach Festival 2015
Royal Pest Solutions spent a beautiful day at the Middletown, DE., Peach Festival. Our booth was busy all day with visitors playing BUGS-ketball, taking pictures with the Royal Butterfly and signing up to win a copy of Pipsie Nature Detective. Thanks to Jackie, Frann, Jeremy, Bing and Dannis for all your help to make this another successful marketing event.
2015 Royal Olympics
Royal Pest Solutions held our annual Royal Olympics Games, breaking into five teams that competed in 11 hard-fought events. This year's theme, FEED THE PLANET, collected over 500 pounds of non-perishable food from Royal Pest employees that will be donated to Food Banks in Delaware, Maryland and Pennsylvania. Leftovers from the Olympics lunch were donated to the Sunday Breakfast Mission for dinner that evening.
On top of that...with the help of Mimi and Jeff Eastman of Delaware Lyme Challenge...and our own BJ Bias' daughter Ramani....our dedicated employees took the Lyme Disease Challenge to raise awareness of the horrors of Lyme Disease. You can see that video at: Royal Pest Lyme Disease Challenge
Thank you to all our sponsors and judges who make this event such a success!
Special thanks to Ryan Pacana for her wonderful photography in this gallery.
