Royal uses the most advanced methods and materials in IPM (Integrated Pest Management) to provide customers with pest control that is the safest and most effective in the industry today. TERMITE control in Roland Park
Royal termite service starts with a careful inspection of your home to identify problems and conditions conducive to infestation by wood-destroying insects such as termites, carpenter ants and bees. Royal Pest Professionals then customize a treatment strategy designed both for your immediate pest needs and to eliminate the threat of future structural damage.
ANTS control in Roland Park
With more than 700 species of ants in the United States, it’s not surprising that ants are a very common home-invader. One of the most destructive species is the carpenter ant, enter buildings through small cracks and holes, and tunnel through decaying wood before attacking undamaged wood. The most common home invading species include odorous and non-odorous house ants and pavement ants. These ants will eat almost anything, including fruit, meats and cheese and can contaminate food sources that they infest. Royal will take proactive steps to eliminate ants at first appearance to reduce the likelihood of a major infestation later.
MICE AND RATS control in Roland Park
The house mouse is the most common rodent pest in most parts of the world. It can breed rapidly and adapt quickly to changing conditions. House mice can breed throughout the year and can share nests. As their name suggests, house mice live in structures, but they can live outdoors. And come inside for food. Mice can also bring fleas, mites, ticks and lice into your home. Their urine and feces can cause allergies in children.
STINK BUGS control in Roland Park
This insect earned its name from its tendency to release an odor when disturbed or when crushed. During warm months, female stink bugs attach large masses of eggs to the underside of leaves and stems. In the fall they start to come into your home looking to “overwinter”. Stink bugs are not known to bite humans but caution should be used when handling them to avoid a release of their odor. A Royal Pest Management licensed pest professional can treat for stink bugs in the late summer or fall just prior to bug congregation. Since there are NO natural predators for STINK BUGS in the U.S., PEST CONTROL is the only method to keep them out of your home.
BED BUGS control in Roland Park
Bed bugs get their name because they like to live and feed in beds. They like to travel and will hide in suitcases, boxes and shoes to be near a food supply. They are elusive, nocturnal creatures. They can hide behind baseboards, electrical switchplates, picture frames, even wall paper. They come out at night for a blood meal. Although bed bugs can dine on any warm-blooded animal, they primarily dine on humans. Bed bugs do not transmit diseases, but their bites can become red, itchy welts. Royal follows a strict procedure that includes inspection, preparation, treatment, follow up and customer education to control and keep bed bugs from returning.

Bed Bugs Are Spreading
Across the country, the bed bug problem continues to increase. The situation in New York City is one example of what is happening in some areas.
A new Daily News-Marist poll revealed that one person in 10in New York City has had bed bugs in their homes—twice as many as last year. Put another way, the poll suggests that 800,000 people in the city have had these bloodsuckers crawling around in their sheets!
It's not just homes that are infested; people are reporting bed bugs in their workplace too. They've even been discovered recently in places like upscale clothing stores, health clubs, judge's chambers, and movie theaters. The number of calls to the city's hotline shot up 33% last year. The city recently provided $500,000 in anti-bed bug funds and is considering naming a special bed bug "czar" to combat this modern-day plague.
Part of the reason for the rapid spread of bed bugs in New York, and everywhere, is that these bugs can easily "hitchhike" on people's clothes, in gym bags, pocketbooks, etc., without a person knowing they are there. Often the first indications of an infestation are welts or bite marks, but about 20% of us don't show any reaction to bed bug bites.
Bed bug control is time-consuming and requires a thorough knowledge of these pests, as well as the proper materials to control them. Some people have tried to control bed bugs themselves, but this never works. Don't wait while the bugs spread to other rooms and your friends—call us to do it right. |
